We usually have at least two webcams running in the office. Contrary to popular belief this is not so I can check up on what's going on when I'm not there - very little is as most of the team is home-based. The truth is that we set them up originally because a client had asked us to investigate the best way of them having webcams on their site, and they just sort of stuck.

At present, CAM1 is a live streaming video camera which show about 10 seconds of video, whereas CAM2 is a fixed camera taking still images every 30 seconds or so.

We get nearly as much traffic to the cams as any other page on the site, which I thought was a bit sad until one of our clients recently told me "Oh yeah, we often have a peep to see what you're up to" So, I figure if you're looking at us, you're thinking about us and if you're thinking about us, you're not thinking about the competition!
