If you have received some spam appearing to originate from the clearly.co.uk domain name, it's not us, I can assure you of that. There is a thing called spoofing, whereby a horrible low-life spammer finds a domain name that is legitimate and belongs to a  decent law-abiding human being and sends all his dirty filth out purporting to be from it.

They do this to bypass spam filters and stuff by legitimising their rubbish, but in the process they make lots of nice servers think that the owner of that domain name is a spammer. It sucks.

Oh and guess what else, when they send an email out to a list which they have stolen from somewhere, all the bounce-backs (undeliverable email sent to addresses which were fake or no longer exist or have strong spam filters) come back to the actual owner of the domain name. 700 bounce-backs a day surely do clog up your Inbox in NO time. Grrr.

And the cherry on top? There's not a thing we can do about it.
