Content Management Systems (CMS)
Not so long ago a website was simply a brochure translated into HTML - static simple web pages that never changed. Over the last decade you must have noticed that most of the websites you visit on a regular basis are now packed with features encouraging you to interact, and that their content changes on a daily basis. This is all made possible by having a content management system (CMS hereafter). Gone are the days when you have to email the web developer every time you want to make a simple change.

Our top-of-the-range CMS boasts an incredible
array of features allowing you to do all sorts of
things to offer added value to your visitors.

You can:
  • Add/edit/delete/move pages
  • Add images/audio/video/flash to any page
  • Add PDF/Word etc. documents for download
  • Enable pages to appear or expire on specific dates
  • Add interactive Polls
  • Allow your visitors to comment on your pages
  • Allow visitors to rate the content of your pages
  • Add a discussion forum or a guestbook to your site
  • Add News feeds/Blogs/RSS feeds to your site
  • Add image galleries to your site
  • Allow visitors to subscribe to a newsletter (or more than one) which can be entirely managed within the CMS with no need for additional email software - you can stay in touch with them as often as you want, you can even import your existing lists into the system (although please note we do NOT allow spam to be sent through our servers!)
  • Create job pages with application forms online which allow candidates to upload/submit their CV. You receive an email notification and the details and CV are stored on the server for you to retrieve at your convenience
  • Manage events listings and reservations online
  • Sell products online - either subscription products or documents/software for immediate download, or traditional products. Shipping and Tax management are built-in, as are discount codes, and even payment processing using the Paypal Business engine for seamless credit card processing
  • Multi-language/Country support - the CMS is designed to support parallel versions - all you have to do is get translation
  • Quickly build forms to capture data from your audience and invite them to interact with you
  • Set up member areas quickly, easily and securely
  • Set up client-specific pages quickly, easily and securely
  • Create sections or pages on your site that specific people/departments may edit - you can even make it so that they can create content but it will only be published once approved by a higher level
Now I appreciate that this could actually be quite a daunting list, but you can use as little or as much as you want and the tools are there as you grow to make so much more of your website. An interactive demo and screen movies will be appearing here shortly to give you a flavour of the CMS in action.
