How to change your Email password
If you wish to change your emails password, the first thing to do is to advise us of the new password you want so we can change it on the server - the form to the right is the best way to do this. Once we have confirmed that change, you need to change it in your email client software.

The process for changing your password in your chosen email software will vary depending which email application you choose to use.

NEW! A printable PDF guide to doing this in most of the common email applications may be downloaded by clicking here

The outline below shows how to change your password in Outlook 2007. Older version of Outlook will vary slightly, but the basic principle is the same.

Open your email application.

From the menu at the top choose Tools then Account settings

This should open a window which shows you a list of the email accounts you have on your computer.

Double click the email account for which you are changing the password.

This will open a further window with the settings specific to that mail account.

The last field in this window is the password field. You should now delete all the stars in that box and then type in your new password.

When you have done this click the Next button, and then click Finish.

This will close the topmost window and leave the account list. If you have to change the password for another email account do so now, or close this window if you have finished.

If you have any queries regarding this please complete the help request form, making sure you include the email address affected in the Email line.
